Peak Design Capture Clip

This is one of the coolest pieces of kit I use. The way it works is there’s a clip that attaches to a shoulder strap or belt and a base plate that goes on the bottom of your camera which allows you to securely attach the camera to the strap. This is extremely useful when you're going on hikes or little adventures and want quick access to your camera without holding it all the time or having it swinging around on a camera strap. There’s a button you press on the side of the clip and slide the camera out. It’s so handy having it right there ready to go at a moment’s notice.

Another great thing about the base plate is if you have a tripod that uses a similar plate, you can just attach it straight to the tripod without switching base plates. I don’t even take the plate off my camera anymore, it is so useful to have the versatility of switching between both carrying and sitting on a tripod that it has become an essential part of my kit.

I wouldn’t worry about the camera falling off the clip either because it is a little finicky to try and get out but it gives me peace of mind knowing that it won’t just fall out while I’m walking.
