FujiFilm X100F

There are so many good things I can say about this camera. To start, it is a beautiful piece of technology. The sleek design and size make it my everyday camera. After making a short leather strap that I use to hang the camera around my neck, I started carrying it with me everywhere I went. It got to the point that sometimes I would forget that it was even there. One time I was on a train ride to the city and a couple next to me asked if I was a photographer. With confusion in my eyes, I said to them “What makes you think that?” to which he replied “You have a camera around your neck” and I was like “Oh yeah I totally do haha”. It’s so thin and light that it has become a no-brainer for whether I want to bring a camera with me or not.

It has a film feeling to the actual camera body and the way it takes pictures. It’s a very tactile camera with all the dials for each setting on the actual body instead of digitally through a dial. I love being able to quickly change my aperture by rotating the lens rather than twisting a dial. Fujifilm is known for something called Film Simulations. These are programmed into the camera before you buy and what they do is emulate film stocks that exist. So you have the option to shoot thousands of film-like photos without actually shooting film. It’s one of the best things about Fujifilm cameras. You also have the option to make your own!

Considering the camera only has a 16megapixel camera, it produces a beautiful image when there’s enough light of course. But no need to worry because it has a built-in flash that lets you take pictures at night with ease. You also have the option to add and external flash on top for even more light. It also allows you to add a microphone because this camera does shoot 1080p video as well!

More to come on this soon!
